Miriam and Christoph had originally planned a simple civil wedding. Miriam, from Austria, and Christoph, from Germany, wanted to celebrate their grand church wedding in Munich. However, Miriam couldn't accept that no part of their wedding would take place in her homeland—especially since, as a child, she had always dreamed of getting married at Burg Grein. So, they decided to adjust their plan and held their civil ceremony in an intimate setting with their closest family at the castle. The historic backdrop and the personal ceremony made the day truly special. With a view of the Danube and surrounded by their loved ones, they made their vows to each other for their life together.
